Looking for a proven wholesale sales leader to help design the future state of the Wholesale Sales organization of a large confection company. A successful person in this role will have an appetite for managing a complex business, enjoy building critical relationships with high profile key customers and be able to provide direction to Account Managers/Team Leaders.

Job Duties:

The key accountabilities of this role include: -Driving sales growth by optimizing the organizations competitive position through collaborative, direct selling efforts that result in the achievement of increased shelf share in key customers - Collaborating and aligning with peers and cross functional departments, specifically Marketing, Category Management and Finance to ensure best in class execution of brand initiatives and the overall business plan - Leading strategic meetings resulting in mutually productive outcomes for both the organization and key customers - Achieving sales and profitably targets while operating within budgetary guidelines - Develop and implement comprehensive plans that will result in accurate sales forecasting, optimize production planning and expected delivery to customers - Monitoring and ensuring the effective utilization of trade promotion funds to ensure expected profitability by customer and class of trade

Background Requirements:

Looking for someone with ten years of account management or team leader experience in a consumer packaged goods environment. Experience should include support of Walmart. Experience in the confection, food, beverage or cosmetics industry is strongly preferred.
