Summary:

Growing restaurant group seeking well rounded GM to jump on board early and assist with opening of new restaurant. This is top priority for the group and they are prepared to offer the right candidate a position immediately. Group has a proven track record of success, will continue to grow and is looking for talented individuals to grow with them.

Job Duties:

-Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance. -Live through and lead your team through the groups vision & mission statement -Handle all staffing responsibilities including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and terminating. -Inventory, cost analysis, P&L, budgeting -Promote a cooperative effort, a team spirit, and good morale among employees -Deliver & exceed guest expectation -Ability to resolve guest complaints in a polite & friendly manner -Perform daily inspections and periodic audits to check safety of equipment and to ensure food is cooked properly -Administer payroll -Provide regular and accurate computerized reports of operations to owner & upper management -Respond to customer and community interests to develop marketing and advertising

Background Requirements:

Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: *food planning and preparation *purchasing *sanitation *security *company policies and procedures *personnel management *record keeping *preparation of reports Proven track record of success in high volume, upscale and/or fine dining atmosphere.
